The new generation of Spin-Cast reliability has arrived!
The MK-8 Control Unit features a very accurate clock with a sleep feature that conserves battery power. A press of any button will wake the unit up. Six feeding times are available and the motor run time is programmable up to 60 seconds for each feeding. Features less buttons and easy programming. A solar confidence LED lets you know the solar panel is charging the battery. The test button runs a complete system check and operates in conjunction with a count down to the test of 10 seconds. There is a built-in lithium back up battery to hold settings when the feeder battery is disconnected. All plastic used in control units is 100% Recycled Polycarbonate with UV inhibitors added (the same tough, flexible material that is used in safety glass).
The MK-8 Solar Control Unit is supplied with a 6 volt rechargeable battery, 6 volt solar panel with stainless steel cooncable, small cone, cutting template, and mounting hardware.

I first bought a Spin cast unit back in 2000. I don't even think they had a MK-1 designation back then. The unit worked perfectly for the past 25 years. Finally the circuit board got fried and it was time to get a new one. I immediatly went online and bought an MK-8 solar 6-volt unit. I'm 72, so if I get another 25 years out of this new one, I'll be setting a new record for elderly hunters! Great product! and so simple to operate a senior can do it!

I have been using Spin Cast slingers since the mid 90’s and as far as I am concerned, no body, and I mean no body builds a better set up or more reliable set up than Spin Cast. Luv your product and I tell everyone if you want to eliminate your issues with your feeders, switch to Spin Cast.
